In this piece for the United Nations, Nautilus co-founder and Chief Scientist, Parag Mallick describes the many ways novel proteomics technologies like those under development at Nautilus will help humanity combat existential challenges. Parag focuses on the ways these technologies will:

  • Enhance diagnostic and therapeutic development
  • Increase agricultural productivity and thereby enhance food security
  • Combat climate change

In the article, Parag comments on the immense potential of proteomics saying, “There is no limit to the questions that can be answered with the treasure trove of information that novel technologies and advances in proteomics will bring, and these insights will serve to accelerate the life sciences, provide a better understanding of how cells work, and move us closer toward a more sustainable existence.”
