While Women’s History Month is coming to a close, women play a crucial role at Nautilus and in all of biotech every day of the year. In this blog post, we highlight just a few of the leading women in science at Nautilus who work tirelessly to develop our platform and enable a proteomics revolution that will positively impact everyone.

Sheri Wilcox, Ph.D. – Vice President of Affinity Reagent Development

With two decades of research experience advancing proteomics and its potential to improve biomedicine, Nautilus Vice President of Affinity Reagent Development Sheri Wilcox, Ph.D., is more than a driving force behind the growth of our platform – she is a devoted mentor to women in science and engineering across our industry. At Nautilus, Dr. Wilcox leads the development of protein-binding reagents designed to enable our platform to uncover novel scientific insights about the proteome. She also serves on the Human Proteome Organization’s (HUPO) Industrial Advisory Board and provides mentorship through the Scripps Research Alumni Mentorship Program.

Jamie Rose Kuhar, Ph.D. – Head of Project Management

Heading our Product Management Team, Jamie Rose Kuhar, Ph.D., leverages her deep technical knowledge, experience in market analysis, and scientific acumen to drive the commercialization of our platform. Dr. Kuhar has a cross-disciplinary background in business, marketing, and molecular biology and is passionate about bringing discoveries out of the lab and into the world where they can have a positive impact on people’s lives.

Kara Juneau, Ph.D. – Senior Director of Assay Development

Kara Juneau, Ph.D. recently joined the Nautilus team as Senior Director of Assay Development. Dr. Juneau has had an impressive career spanning biomarker discovery, diagnostics development, genomics, and CRISPR genome editing. Kara has extensive experience in R&D and product development.  She has led teams developing products designed to edit genomes, measure biomolecules, and improve medical testing. She’s an innovator with a diverse research background who has optimized processes in R&D and operations, and launched products developed under her direction.
